Had a lash lift and tint. The lift was not what I've had in the past. The only way I know the tint was put on is that I have black on my eyelids. And I have some sort of glue on my lids as well. So disappointed and a waste of money.

I've been going to Glow regularly for Brazilian waxes since 2012 and I refuse to go anywhere else. Beautiful clean salon, convenient booking (online or via phone), WONDERFUL highly talented aestheticians and overall just a perfect place for getting your sensitive bits waxed! They used a blue wax which I don't find to be painful.

I don't live anywhere near the area but driving through traffic on 93 is absolutely worth it to get a Brazilian wax at Glow!

Don't hesitate and just book it. (also, Laura Sweeney is THE BEST)

I recently moved back to the Boston area and stumbled upon this place when looking for a brow waxing/tinting place. It was a little more expensive than my spot in San Francisco, but I really liked the woman who did my brows and it was super convenient to work. I went once and had a great experience, so I decided that maybe this could be my regular spot.

Second time around, I still really liked the woman doing my brows, but something definitely went wrong. It did kind of feel like the wax was going all over the place, but initially my brows looked good and my eye area was slightly red but nothing crazy. Next morning, I woke up and my EYELID WAS BRUISED.

I spent some time thinking about the right way to handle the situation, and decided to directly call the shop, cancel my next appointment and explain why. The girl that answered the phone was very apologetic, canceled my appointment, and told me that their esthetician would call me back as soon as she was done with her current appointment. And..... I never got a call back.

Given the situation and how it was handled, I decided to share my experience. I'm also posting a picture below so you can see what happened.

I was walking by this place and saw through the window that they sell cosmetic products so I decided to come in and look at what they had available.
I found several different cosmetic items for face and eyes. I saw a couple of pretty shades of blush so I decided to take both and try them on.
One of the two ladies who were working at the time took my to a room with a mirror and put a little of each product on me just so I could see which one I wanted to buy.
I decided on one and brought the item to the front area to pay for it.
The person at the register seemed very nice and rang my order in and wrapped my product in a cute little bag with the store logo on it.
The cosmetic items they sell are of good quality and the color is long-lasting.
I definitely would like to come back and try one of their skincare services.

Best spray tan I have EVER had. After 3 or 4 days I find that my spray tans tend to get very patchy but not this one! I sprayed on a Thursday as we were going on vacation Saturday and my tan lasted almost all week. Heather took her time and suggested what color would look best with my complexion. I'm so glad I listened to her : )

Glow has a new forever customer

Decent customer service. Nice and relaxing first time experience for a facial but the waxing service that followed left more to be desired. I have been receiving wax treatments for over 10years and have only once before had the results that I experienced similarly to that of those at Glow Beauty.

To put it plainly the wax that was used did not remove the hair at the root and left a mess of unsightly ingrown hairs. I noticed stubble and hair growth literally the day following the service. Needless to say I won't be back.

Do not use this business. They are thieves. They require a credit card to be on file in order to book an appointment and they will keep it on file. Then a month later decided to bill me for an appointment I did not make. The staff was rude when I called to dispute. When I opened a complaint with the better business bureau they lied. Very shady. Buyer beware!

Had an appt that I thought was at 8:30a. I arrived at 8:22 and was told I can't be seen because I was late. My appt was 8a. So rather than taking me and doing what they could for the 45 minutes, they canceled my appointment and charged me $50 no show fee. I totally understand policy's but I was there. So rather than making money on a shorter appointment Including tip, they lost a new customer. Not good business strategy.

So, I came here for an airbrush tan because this place has solid 4-5 star reviews. My usual place is $70 for a spray tan, and I was finding it too pricey. This place is closer to where I live and only $40 (they were also having some other kind of promotion and I ended up only paying $30). I was ecstatic! Then they gave me a loyalty card and after 5 sessions, the 6th is free! Woot! I WANTED to love this place. It's super cute and the staff was so friendly! I even wanted to try other services. I am still on the fence about coming back here, I hate writing a review after only one visit.

But here's the thing. My tan was the worst. I get it, the hands are always super hard to do. But my fingers were ghastly white next to the top of my hand, they were so obviously missed. The worst part is, I recognized it on my way out of the salon and said something to the front desk, and I was told it would blend in. It didn't, and I was leaving on my trip that next day so I couldn't even go back to fix it. Then I realized the whole back of my arm was missed too. I ended up correcting it myself with St Tropez because I had no other choice, but the damage was done. On the whole it appeared more fake, uneven and my hands were just embarrassing.

I did like how you can get a spray tan completely in the nude though, my other place has you wear a G-string and I hate the lines. I also loved that you didn't have to stand in front of a fan for 10 min after. I do think it would be helpful to have mirrors in the tanning rooms, so that you can watch the process.

Ultimately I just can't recommend the airbrush spray tan here. Dammit.

**Glow did contact me after this review crediting my account $40, should I return to Glow. I have not done so yet, but will consider, and do appreciate the response.

Glow is hands down the best! I've been seeing Jen for my eyebrows regularly (as well as for facials and dermaplaning) for a few years and she always works meticulously to make sure they're exactly the way I want them. Glow's rates are reasonable, and appointments always start right on time. I'll never leave :).
