If you've ever stopped for a Cold Brew, Box O' Joe, or even just some Munchkins in Quincy, Massachusetts, you've probably already visited the iconic location. Victor Carvalho (left) and his brother Octavio, are the present-day owners of the flagship Dunkin'. Their parents, immigrants from the Azores, took over the location in 1979 from the Rosenberg family, who founded Dunkin' Donuts in 1950. Dunkin' has grown quite a bit since then, now boasting over 13,200 locations in nearly 40 global markets. In addition to keeping his family's legacy alive and preserving the original history of the store, Victor also serves as chairman of the Dunkin' Joy in Childhood Foundation, which provides grants to hundreds of nonprofits. Organizations include food pantries, children’s hospitals, camps and programs designed to provide joy to those who need it most.
